About Me

My photo
My name is Anna, and I work as a primary school teacher in greater London. I love eating pizza and watching TV with my husband. I also love painting glass, and any other crafty pursuits that give me a chance to make a mess! I am on a bit of a mission to learn how to cook, bake, sew and generally make things before I have children. I'm trying to learn something new each day. I really value your support, so thank you for following me xx

I solemnly swear that I am up to no good!

Yesterday I remade a wine glass that I previously designed for a friend. It was one of the first things I ever made, but is one of my favourites. Here's how I made ' Accio Wine!'

First, I used black outliner to trace the writing.

Then I used a felt tip to draw the lines for the harlequin pattern and went over this with outliner. When the outliner was dry I wiped off the pen.

Next, I added large stars using outliner.

When dry,  I filled the harlequin squares with colour and waited for it to dry (again).

Then I painted the stars.

The last thing to do was to fill in the black writing (can't seem to get this image to behave!)

24hrs later, it went into the oven...

...and it's now up on Folksy. Hope you like it!
