About Me

My photo
My name is Anna, and I work as a primary school teacher in greater London. I love eating pizza and watching TV with my husband. I also love painting glass, and any other crafty pursuits that give me a chance to make a mess! I am on a bit of a mission to learn how to cook, bake, sew and generally make things before I have children. I'm trying to learn something new each day. I really value your support, so thank you for following me xx

Handmade Monday

I bit premature to write this on a Sunday morning, I know. But, I'm trying to put off cleaning the bathroom :)

This week I was ...

...jumping for joy!

As I sold my first ever item to a complete stranger. Hip, hip, hurray! The bird wine glass that everyone was so nice about last week sold within 2 hours of being on Folksy - which just blew my mind and left me smiling for about 3 days.

So I decided to make a larger version and also try out another vintage bird design from The Graphics Fairy:

I have also been making some champagne glasses on request. I spent ages thinking about what I should put on a glass for a retiring male electrician  - and eventually settled for something simple:

I would just like to thank everyone again for their lovely comments and support over the last few weeks. I'm so glad I was invited to join in with Handmade Monday as I've discovered some amazing blogs and had some wonderful feedback from lovely people.

Anna xx

I think there may be something wrong with the link - can you check back & if it's not showing up, try submitting it again? I've edited it, but it's not yet showing for me. Thanks for joining in again x
