About Me

My photo
My name is Anna, and I work as a primary school teacher in greater London. I love eating pizza and watching TV with my husband. I also love painting glass, and any other crafty pursuits that give me a chance to make a mess! I am on a bit of a mission to learn how to cook, bake, sew and generally make things before I have children. I'm trying to learn something new each day. I really value your support, so thank you for following me xx

Handmade Monday

Hello! Hope you've all had a good week. The first week off from school has been magical, and I have lots to share.

The first, most exciting thing, is that my craft room is finished! Hurrah! Save for something interesting to go on the walls. You can see it here if you're interested :)

But the best thing about it, is the magical cupboard that my dad just finished today. This is more of a 'Dad Made' than 'hand made' bit of news:

Before

After

Isn't she beautiful!

Ok, here are somethings I really did do without parental supervision:

Two matching cocktail glasses for a wedding gift - apparently the bride LOVES elephants.

These are for an engagement present for a couple getting married in South Africa, and the images were from their invitation. These were tricky!

Thanks for reading, and don't forget to check out Handmade Monday.

Anna xx

P.S We're off on our Honeymoon next Saturday - so I'll be missing a couple of Mondays!

  9. I have to admit, I am a little jealous of your craft room, but in a good way, wow, amazing! Hope that keeps me motivated, I've been working on my back room. Of course, it's also a guest bedroom, so it can never be devoted to crafts, because it has a bed and such right in the middle of it, but still, trying to store as much of my *stuff* in there as efficiently as possible! But your place is gorgeous! :)
Now...wow, to the glasses for the couple in S. Africa, those are my favorite. What wonderful work (among your other wonderful work). :)

  14. I am having a little craft room envy at the moment, it looks really great and the cupboard looks superb. Nice to have a space to work in rather than the kitchen table. Love the elephants too, you have done a brilliant job. Have a lovely honeymoon x
