About Me

My photo
My name is Anna, and I work as a primary school teacher in greater London. I love eating pizza and watching TV with my husband. I also love painting glass, and any other crafty pursuits that give me a chance to make a mess! I am on a bit of a mission to learn how to cook, bake, sew and generally make things before I have children. I'm trying to learn something new each day. I really value your support, so thank you for following me xx

Handmade Monday - Sorry it's been a while!

Oh dear, what a terrible blogger I have been of late! My lovely husband has been working on my website (very exciting!) which links to my blog so I've not been able to use it much.

Anyhoo. Hope everyone has had a lovely week. The poor year 6s had their Sats last week - so now looking forward to the 2 weeks before half term being full of crafty fun. We're making phone socks next week - will be sure to take some pictures!

A few things that have made me smile this week:

I emptied out my coin jar and got a brand new, shiny, easy for beginners to use... sewing machine!

I did my first hem yesterday - I was so proud!

I stumbled across this lovely lady and would like to share her website with anyone who hasn't seen it. I'm very jealous of her ability to make anything look beautiful and the way she manages to bake, craft, garden, raise twins and still blog everyday!

Here are some things I've been up to:

Have a wonderful week. I'm looking forward to sharing some sewing machine makes with you as soon as I have something other than hems!

Please check out some wonderful blogs at Hand Made Monday
